T.A.R.A.S. is a provincially registered, non-profit organization, which was formed in 1984 to help provide a network of information for anyone interested in reptiles and amphibians.

Our goal is to promote education, conservation and responsible pet ownership by offering a wide range of resources that deal with the proper care of these fascinating, but specialized, animals.

Fellow Reptile Enthusiasts!

The dates for our annual "Reptilemania!" event have been fully booked! We are very excited and cannot wait to share a day, and our animals with the public! We are also having our TARAS Christmas party and the dates for that event have been booked as well!! Please check out our event page for more details on both of these events!

Lastly,the dates for The Alberta Reptile and Amphibian Society spring show and sale have also been fully booked! We anticipate this next show to be bigger, better, and offer ALL KINDS of fantastic things to our public patrons! Stay tuned for sneak peaks and leaks!
