DefaultWhat dart frog species are bred in Alberta

Hi guys, new to the hobby and new to the forums. I've recently started 3 vivariums and am looking for differnt types of darts. I started with 2 D Auratus and am looking for another type for my other vivs. Im hoping to see some variety at the Reptile & Amphibian show next week. Ive seen A few varieties of Dendrobates tinctorius available as well as Auratus but nothing else. Does anyone know of other types that are bred out here?

Im considering ordering from understory enterprises to maybe bring something out here that we dont have. I requested info on the following types and was told they have R imitatror (chazuta, tarapoto) and D Leucomelas availalable (Guyana Banded). Im interested in these and at some point down the road (a year or so) if sucsessful breeding I would be interested in trades.

Just hoping to touch base with other dart frog guys to see what you guys would be interested in bringing to Alberta

If anyone else is interested in ordering from understory send me a message and maybe we could split shipping. Who knows maybe ill be blown away with all the specimens as the show and wont order right away.

Thanks

Jesse

Your best bet is Frog Pimp on the forums. He is a stellar guy and I would highly recommend him. He is actually making a trip to Calgary this sunday, I would suggest sending him a PM to make any last minute orders.

DefaultDart frogs in Alberta

I'm currently breeding a couple species of Ranitomeya as well as a few Pumilio morphs. Check out www.canadart.org - tons of great info and contacts there.
If you're looking for some frogs pm me as I will have a few ready for sale in the next month or two.
