    Default The Field Herping Fora

Welcome to our long-delayed and brand new "field herping" forum.

This is the place to show and tell your experiences with [mainly] herps in the wild, at zoos, in museums, or other collections. The idea here is to introduce us to the natural world other than your own pets! Please continue to introduce your not-so-two-legged family members in the general discussion or individual herp fora. General Discussion is also the place to bring up more general issues, such as commentary on particular collections or husbandry methods. What we want to see here is lots of pictures, and maybe even a decent amount of education on herps themselves, or the natural world they are part of.

Have at 'er, and I hope we will see a lot more added!

The trend is to post names and numbers of "pets" here. That seems...um...bulky.
    23+ species of salamander
28+ families and subfamilies of reptile, amphibian, and arachnid.
Only one has a name. The Beast.
