Default 10 year old male Red-Foot Tortoise

"Job" (Bible name), our Red-Footed tortoise, was purchased for my daughter in January 2007 from the Riverfront Aquarium in Calgary. He was then 4 years old, and is now 10 years old. My daughter is now travelling for work and school and as much as it breaks her heart to let him go, she realizes the need to give him a more permanent home. He has already moved with her a few times and stayed with other family members as she moved to areas where he would not be comfortable.
Job was captive bred and hatched in British Columbia. Seller lives in Mountain View, AB, but the tortoise is now living in Edmonton with family members.
Shipping can be arranged. Asking Price: $1200.00

    Thanks,

    Barbara

    Dear Red-Foot Tortoise Lovers:

Job is now back home with me in Mountain View. Unbelievable how smart he is that after 2 years, he remembers his favorite spots for hiding! I got a new couch that is much lower to the ground (and he has grown) and watched him circle the thing 5 times looking for a way to get underneath! As I have heated floors, he loved hiding under it where it was dark and warm, but alas, he will have to find a new hiding place. My daughter has moved (AGAIN) and I have started work full-time, so we are still looking for a good home and loving family for him.
