    Default BTS Humidity Question

I'd like to add a custom built waterfall/bath to my BTS enclosure. Micia's round dish just isn't big enough for him to get a full body soak anymore now that he's reached his adult size so I figured it was time to construct a new one.

As many of you know I've been working on his tank for over a year with much progress. It's been constructed in such a way that I can easily move or replace components for easy cleaning or simply to add variety.

I decided to go with papertowel substrate with clean shredded paper over my original desire for an all natural terrarium. The importance of cleanliness outweighed the need for absolute natural beauty.
    **Note: updated photos coming soon.

    So the question:
If I add a waterdish that includes a trickle wall and a filter will it create too much humidity in his 2ft X 2ft X 4ft enclosure?

If needed, the lid has been designed in such away that I can add an extra mini-ventilation system if necessary.

Which kind of blue tongue is he? Each species has a slightly different humidity requirement.

Indo's are one of the higher-humidity loving blueys so you should be fine with it. My Indos have a coco-fiber x sand mix as substrate in their enclosures & seem to be thriving with humid enclosures, very similar to how I kept my Cresties.

I made my skinks water dishes out of Styrofoam and concrete because I wanted them to be able to soak as well. Snickers our female merauke just tries to get the water out of it so she can lay it. She seems to get annoyed when we refill it after she worked so hard to get it empty and dirty lol. Every skink is different, but our other skink who loves water only dunks his head in his I've never seem either of them really soak in the water dishes. I would go for putting more space into things for them to climb and dig through as they can get bored easy.

I know the dish is dirty, but we clean it constantly and she walks through it over and over dragging dirt into it.
