    Default TARAS bylaw revision meeting

Hello fellow members! In the last few months it's become apparent that we need to review and potentially change some of our bylaw's. With that in mind, we will be holding a special meeting to go over them and decide what will best help the society going forward, if you would like to attend please vote on what date would work best for you, thanks!!

This is also a good chance for everyone to help us improve our policies and let us know what you would like to see change. Hope you can make it!

Please note if you are planning on attending this meeting......

Please read the bylaws ahead of time and make notes / markups / suggestions to changes you want to see made in terminology, phrasing, additions of terms etc. This will make it a productive meeting instead of a meeting where everyone is sitting down reading pages of documentation.

Good Day/ Evening, I'm new on here, I live in S.W Ontario planning a possible move to Alberta- was offered a photo journalism position in Saskatchewan, had to turn it down I own two boa constrictors and I learned that no resident short of a registered zoo can keep the species within all of Saskatchewan. Ontario is a crazy patchwork of reasonable to outright foolish bylaws- mostly as a result of people who are irresponsible keepers. Currently I will be taking a course in Toronto- which does have a bylaw which allows Boa Constrictors up to 3 meters in length, my largest is approx 2.25 meters. What are the bylaws of Calgary, Alberta in general and where/ how can I continue to keep my pets, I am a responsible owner, educated and feel that educating the public and members of council is the best way....hoping for some good advice here

I think it would be best to make it at the shawnessy location if it's available seeing as our success on different days at deerfoot has been...spotty!

Have we decided on a date yet?

I can make either date work, I just chose the one that works best for me.

Once we have a date I will call Shawnessy Petland and book the room.

Cody is there any chance you can make the 4th work? Or Lyra, can you make the 11th work? Once I get the date I will call Shawnessy right away and book the room.
