Default I need Screen for Skink tank build

Can anyone tell me where I can get mesh for the screened areas I am building into my BTS tank lid? I want it heavier than screen door weight in case the cat decides to use it as a hammock. I only need about 18" X 40" and that's overestimating.

I've only seen light screen...mind you, I've never bothered to ask anyone there. *ahem*

you could use 1/4 inch mesh, I use it for the lids of my asf bins. 25 bucks a roll I think at most hardware stores.

Yeah I was thinking maybe some of the heavier mesh that would maybe be used for grout etc. & if nessicary use the finer as well to help contain smaller prey etc. Mark

edit - could also use additional cross members so to speak as well

Totem or Rona. Bought mine at totem, there was a stack of different types ranging from 19 cents a square foot to 2-3$

I'm hoping to cut the openings this week. I was going to cut only what I needed to house the lights as well as a bit of extra ventilation but I may add a few extra areas for extra airflow...thinking of adding a small intake fan to keep the air circulating.
