Just wanted to say hello. I used to own green iguanas and am interested in getting another lizard. I thought this would be a good place to start.

I was interested in getting another green iguana. However, I have been doing some research on Argentine Black and White Tegus and have put an order in for one of those instead. I have never owned one before but from what I have learned they seem like a pretty interesting lizard. And yourself?

Darren (DaremoAlpha) here on the forums has been taking care of some of those monsters for years, I would give him a shout and pick his brain! IMO they are a much better option then a green iguana, so congrats!

definatey a better choice of animal then a green iguana. If you need help or have questions I would be happy to help as well. mind if I ask where you "put an order in". they aren't easy to come across, and if your importing from the states I would be weary.

I do have a question for you actually. The one I am getting is about 6 months old. I am wondering about a feeding schedule. I have found lots of information on what to feed it, however, I was wondering if there are certain foods that should be fed more or less often than others? I appreciate your help. I am supposed to be getting it from a breeder in Ontario.
Welcome, we like new faces around here!
