Default December Meeting and Secret Santa

Our December meeting is less then a week away! For any new members that would like to join us, it will be at Deerfoot Meadows Petland at 7:00 next monday. This will also be when we are doing our secret santa!

Would anyone like to bring out a critter or two?

I would love to get my hands on some different snakes to those that would be willing. I really enjoyed handling Ian's Bull snake at the last meeting! "What a beautiful Sheila" - Steve Irwin

For the Secret Santa, how do we discretely bring in our presents without anyone seeing what each of us bring in (ie. wrapping paper)?

Was there anything specific you wanted to see? We could bring one or two "other" snakes to the meeting. My cape gophers are still settling in, so not them....but we could bring the taiwan beauties, olive python, ridelyi, transpecos, deppei deppei, or possibly a king rat depending on hubby? I dont travel with the rhinos unfortunately just because I dont want to stress them. Everything else has a super super late breeding season (early summer) or arent breeding size so fair game.

The Taiwan Beauty and Olive Python! I would love to see all of them at some point, but it comes down to what you feel comfortable with! Thx!

Big bags, wrap it in duct tape, if it's small enough bring a huge box full of packing peanuts and place it in bottom of the box. Or another idea is if they asked for gc's find a huge turnip or yam and force the gc into it... Make them have to cut it out. Lol just some ideas that I have done for presents before.

    I hate turnips so much...

If ever one of these meetings ends up at the Crowfoot Petland, and the weather is decent... I will gladly bring one of my little green monsters.

So we will be bringing about 4-5 different species that are not common.
