we were out for dinner last night and had a night with no kids in a fancy hotel, got home today and the babysitter (father in law) tells me that snarffs cage was open this morning.

i said, you didnt think to call me???

both kids are denying touching the cage, so i dont know the whole story.


what i do know is he is missing.

he is almost 2years old. about 3.5-4feet long.

hasent eaten in about 15 days, which is not unusual for him. sometimes he goes 4 weeks without feeding, other times he gobbles up rats every week.

anywho, i have put a space heater in my basement (developed) where his enclosure is, setup a place for him to hide and and i have a snack for him i am about to put out. all the lights are off down thier as well.


any other thoughts?


i have already torn the basement apart, looked in every toy box, moved all the furniture, blankets and checked the storage room, furnace, etc no sign.

i hope he hasnt gone upstairs.


i do have a dog, but dont worry he is the biggest chicken shit of the pack and altough he is 100lbs he would run like a scared little girl if he spoted the snake.

i just hope he hasnt climbed the steps and could be in any other room of the house.


any tips would be appreciated.
