Wire Shelving Unit question
Good morning, everyone!
Figured I'd come here first to ask, as I remember a few of you telling me you guys had wire shelving units found at some hardware type stores that you used for your tanks/enclosures. Mostly gecko keepers and their exo terras.
I am finally switching rooms into the larger 2nd bedroom with all my stuff. Told my other half I was tired of being cluttered and he agreed. So we're moving everything around.
I want to get a wire shelving unit for the back wall. The chrome style with the huge weight capacity.
The dimensions on the one I'm looking at says 48" wide. Does anyone use this shelf?
I ask, because it appears as if the supports/legs that go through the shelf might interfere. Basically, would a 48" wire chrome shelf with the legs going through the shelves be a true 48" width? Would I be able to put two exo terras on that shelf? Or would the corners cut the usable space down to 44"?
I can't open the box to measure, so if someone can help, that'd be awesome! Thanks!
