Shipping question

I was looking at having some snakes shipped from the states to Canada. So after looking at reptile exspress it's 800$!! For all permits hardly worth it for a 200$ animal anyhow my question is. Is there another way from a breeders stand point if I bought a snake from so and so how would you ship a single snake to someone people can't be paying 800$ on top price of animal of a single snake are they?? I don't understand why anyone would do that unless it's a large order with multiple snakes. There has to be another way I would think fpr small orders?

You buy more snakes. There is a reason you don't see everyone bringing animals up.

I am bringing a pack of animals up from the states and its alot more after I tacked on taxes. I am splitting an order with another guy here in Alberta and it will be about $7500+ just for animals by the time we are done. For a $200 animal it probably isnt worth it but when you are bringing up genetics you cant find here in Canada its well worth it.

What are you wanting to bring up that you cant find here?

That's insane! But if you got a large order I guess It could be worth it but better to look locally in my opinion I

Ironically I just sold a TRIO of actual axanthics, one female was an older pastel 100% het axanthic proven, a 2012 spider axanthic female and a male axanthic (the pastel's son)....entire group probably cheaper than importing hets.
