I`m sorry, but herps of late so for something interesting, here is a photo of a newly emerged Morning Cloak butterfly. Besides the butterfly, there are 3 other elements in the photo-the chrysalis to the left, while beneath is a red stain, the meconium and finally, to the bottom right the skin of the caterpillar.
The good news is, today`s down pour should bring out the toads.
