Default Where do you buy your snake feeders?

I'm curious about where other snake keepers/breeders are purchasing their rats, ASFs, mice, etc. from. Do most people order online from somewhere? Buy at J & Js? I'm mainly just curious as there doesn't seem to be a lot of options that I've stumbled upon.

I deal with Tyrone from Canadian Mouseman for all my frozen rats and mice. I don't use ASF's and rarely live but when I do, I use Jim.

I use Tyrone as well. We have family in Medicine Hat so when We visit I usually do an order.

I have never bought feeders from JJ but have heard good things and wouldnt hesitate to in the future.

I was buying all my rats/mice from Jim but now I live in Medicine Hat so I bought some mice off Tyrone and I am planning to order rats off him when I need more.

I have ordered a couple times while on sale from snakesnax when they were still running. But I have bought Asfs from Darwin's reptile to start breeding colonies. For the last several years I have been buying from J&J's for frozen rats. Also I have bought feeder rabbits from Riverfront a couple years back.

There is one here in Lethbridge J&M Rabbit farms. They have been to the TARAS show before. I used to buy rabbits from them for my boas but found that the snake poops smell alot worse compared to rats. Perhaps its the higher protien in the rabbits?

yeah they smell worse but I think they are probably healthier then fat retired breeder rats. plus I feed a lot less often with rabbits then rats. I'm not sure about having rabbits shipped, would have to have room for a decent number just to make the order worth while. I have been thinking about breeding them myself too. it's a double bonus, I get feeders the kids get a pet they can pet and handle. lol.
