    Default Baby Emporor Scorpions

Hey! Just looking for some advice.

On Friday one of our emporor scorpions had babies. This is all new to us, anyone have any advice?

Right now we have moved them to their own tank, temp is approx 90-100F, humidity is good and mother is eating well.

    Thanks!

just use pin head crickets as well as large ones(less large) the mom will rip up the large on e and distribute pieces to the babys. once they all move off the moms back you should seperate them into individual tupperwar containers and continue feeding pin heads

Today we lost 3 of the babies. Heat and humitity is still good, mother is eating good and pin head crickets are in the tank.

Did you separate the babies from the mother?

Nope because they are still on the mothers back.

The last week didn't go well. We had 3 that ended up on their backs and died over night and the mother ate that last two :-/

    Buttttt

We came home from work today and another one of our females gave birth. This time only 5 compared to 11 with our last.

We did the following last time and want to make sure we end up with babies at the end of this one:

    1. Separated the mother
    2. Fed her my hand at least 2-3 times per day
    3. Ensured there were a few pin head crickets were in the tank
    4. Kept the humitity and heat at the right temps
    5. Ensured the water dish full at all times (had rocks in it so the babies couldn't drown)

Is there anything missing or something I can do differently?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

IDK much about scorpions but there's got to be a better food source then your hand.

Baby scorpions don't eat much and flesh is a renewable resource. Don't be so quick to judge.
