    Default 2012 Reptilemania

It's time for my favourite show again! Right in time to help us with our winter blues, T.A.R.A.S will be hosting our third annual Reptilemania, once again at Eau Claire mall. For those of you who have not had the chance to attend this so far, it is an opportunity to interact with several species of reptiles, as well as learn more about what makes them so great. Whether you're a seasoned hobbyist, or have yet to see a snake in person, this is guaranteed to be a good time.

If you would like to donate your time, as well as possibly one of your 'slippery' friends, please PM me. Since we do have quite a few children attend, we ask that any animals you wish to bring be 'friendly', or for display only if more temperamental. Any vivariums are also appreciated, if you are unable to stay for the day I will have a table set-up just for viavariums that will be taken care of as well as helping hands to help you unload/ load your tank. If you dont have any animals you wish to bring, help is also appreciated! It's incredbly fun and rewarding sharing them with everyone but also a bit tiring, so hands can always be used- expect a lot of ooh's and ahh's!!

It is also important to note that if you can help us it's vital to be on time. We would absolutely love to have you there, but last year we had a long line up of people eager to see the animals, only to find out that half of the animals had not even arrived yet.

    Now for the Deets!

    Sunday March 11
    10:00- 4:30(volunteers)
    11:00-4:00 ( public)
    Eau Claire mall, community room

We also need a poster, so if you have one tucked away that would be awesome!

Anddddd if you would like to volunteer for this event, you must be a member! Also, please make sure that all animals being brought for handling and display are in good health!

Also a reminder that the parking lot is not a free lot, so you will have to pay for parking. It's minimal, last year it was $3.00, but the machines on site do not take coin, only credit cards. There is however, free parking on the street.

That would be awesome. The poster you created last year was freakin' epic!

Post here when you've got something ready to go, then I can begin the online advertising. We're also going to be putting an ad in the Sun again, so a full colour poster and a black and white poster would be ideal.

    Thanks Izy!!

What's my deadline look like? Or is just one of those 'the sooner the better' time frames?

I believe we have to have the ad submitted by the beginning of Feburary for it to be placed in the Sun in time. So by the end of January, but the sooner the better?

Jay, If I am wrong please correct me on this as you are our media expert!
