Question Something interesting - Is this true??

I found this article when my friend and I went on talking about spiders as this section piqued my interest in learning more about them.

I've come across this story about 'The black death spider'. I tried googling for its picture after my reading with only results of the black widow spider. Are they the same thing or different? Or is this something purely fictitious?

    Article: -warning: it's horrifying story-

*Edit: I guess they aren't the same thing since they say these are the most rare species of spider?*

Just another story to give these 8 legged wonders a bad rap unfortunately. Much like the story that has been actively going around about snakes that "stretch out beside you in bed because they are measuring you up to eat you".

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure if world encyclopedia is a reliable source.

My friend made up a story this morning, telling me that there are 'drain spiders' that lay eggs underneath the lip of your drain and thousands hatch at a time. They're having the time of their lives scaring the crap out of me lol

    Haha I would love to

What do you do when you see a spider in your house? I'm afraid of killing them (I think they'll somehow spray stuff on me and infest LOL) so I firmly tell the spider to wait (they usually do), go get my vacuum, and vac them into our central vac system. Then I go on thinking about how they'll have a huge nest in the vacuum bin.

Imagination kills. Similar things happen when I watch horror movies-

Honestly what is worse? A spider, or the itching of mosquito bites? Or the diseases carried by flies?

The spider is killed when sucked up through a vaccum. I'd suggest using a cup or something, catching it, and releasing it outside to continue to destroy the actual pests.

I'll just stick to screaming, crying, and flailing like a little girl while running into another room as I assume the fetal position and have a metal breakdown.

Yeah, that's what happens EVERY TIME I see a spider... And if no one is home to kill it, I either call my mom or bf and do the above while waiting for them to get home...

No lies. I don't know what it is about spiders that creep me out SOOO bad; and I wouldn't even say it's just me being scared of them, I think I genuinely have a true phobia of them.
It's not the whole multiple legs thing; I love multiple legs, I draw more than 2/4 legs on most of my creatures when draw.
It's not the multiple eyes thing; same reason as above.
the motion in how they walk, that isn't it.
The big fangs; I love big fangs!
Maybe it's the hairs? But I doubt that, I mean, I love my dog!
It's not the whole 'arachnid' thing or whatever; I loved holding our scorpion when we had he (before he took an untimely high fall. )
I can't even stand to look at a picture of a spider without getting a bad feeling and squirmy all over.

Take a bite from multiple snakes? No problem. Take a field ball to the face? No problem. Jump off a bridge? No problem. Be in the same room as a spider, even those tiny baby red wild ones? Heck no, I'd rather be shot, set on fire, shot again, thrown in a room of bees, or whatever other insect people find scary (so long as there's no spiders), have a heart attack, then shot again.

Sorry, but I'm one of those people who support the "Kill a spider every day". lol

I know for the most part they're harmless to us and help the environment... But that doesn't make me any less scared pooless of them.
